Another of the Council's aims is to promote the practice of sport.

Among the many sports installations, one can draw attention to the Santiago Apostol Sporting centre encompassing an indoor pool, four gymnasiums and a football ground. The pool is formed of 3 bathing areas, one specifically designed for diving, making the town ranking second amongst similar pools in the Community of Madrid.

The Town Council encourages the practice of a number of varied sporting activities and offers Basketball, Football, Judo, Fencing, Golf, Taekwondo, Tennis, etc. classes in its schools. Many of the community's athletes have taken part in international competitions and won Olympic medals.
