The Town Hall of Villanueva de la Cañada has a «Linea de Atención a la Mujer» (“Woman’s Help Telephone Line” dedicated to pregnant women/mothers, whose conditions place them in special circumstances, and who highly risk being socially isolated. This service offers women information, free assistance, and social-professional integration.
To obtain this service, you have to be one of the following:
-you are pregnant, and your couple urgently needs assistance and a family counseling concerning the unplanned/difficult pregnancy.
-you are pregnant or with infants, and your case justifies your need of accommodation, feeding and urgent material help
-you are pregnant or with infant, and unemployed
-at your work etc., you suffer discrimination because of your pregnancy, and you need legal assistance.
Personal Assistance is provided by staff specialized in maternity and social resources. This service is carried out every Thursday afternoon with an appointment.
