Hoy en día lo conocemos sobre todo por sus magníficas aportaciones a la novela realista. Pero fue un autor que vivió en una época muy compleja, tanto desde el punto de vista histórico como literario, y que cultivó otros géneros aparte de la novela. Durante la jornada se hablará sobre las distintas etapas de su producción, del impacto que tuvieron en su momento y de cómo le granjearon no solo gran reconocimiento y respeto, sino también profundas enemistades.\nEntrada libre hasta completar el aforo.\n\n
